Siege

We were surrounded.  There were legions of soldiers surrounding our house in Washington.  We had some friends over to help us out, one of which was one of my coworkers in West Virginia (Let's call him Jim for now).  The evil general had set up in the club house, and they were sending over hostages they would try to use to get us to come out of the house.  Every time one got close to the house, we would open up the glass rolling door, kill a few soldiers, and get the hostage inside to safety.

The last hostage was on it's way, and they were getting ready for a real attack.  We knew it was the last hostage, because they would bring the hostages out by the pool before they brought them up.  As they drew near, we readied ourselves to  open the door to let the hostage in.  It was me and Jim leading the charge.  As they came up the porch stairs, Jim charged out, and started raging on them.  The tried to fire a barrage of arrows into the house, but I threw up a shield just in time.  I kept my shield up, keeping the soldiers from getting into the house, until Jim had the hostage close enough.  I let the shield fade as he got closer, pushing the rest of the soldiers still on the porch off with a wave of my hand, and slammed the door shut after them.

It was getting dark, and it looked like the soldiers were going to give it a rest for the night, so we came together for quick meeting.
"The fight has gone out of them,"  Jim said
"Let me go down and talk to their leader, I will get them to leave."

I was very suspicious, and tried to convince the others it was a bad idea, but he was allowed to go anyways.  I decided I would follow him, to make sure he was legitimate.

He left the house at about 10, through the porch door.  I phased out after him, careful to keep myself invisible the whole way there.  He managed to get to the clubhouse unseen, and knocked on the door.  The door opened, and the let him in with seemingly no words exchanged.  I followed him in, slipping in as the door slid shut.

Just inside was the general!  I got angry, and threw a fireball at him, but it seemed to go right through him.  His clothes were burning, and the man behind him fell dead, but he seemed untouched.  He whirled around, looking for the culprit, but I was well and truly invisible.  They decided it wasn't much of a threat, and carried on in their dealings.  I had seen all that I needed to see, and started to creep away.

I was walking through the walls away from the main room, and I happened upon a girl.  She was very pretty, and had brown hair with a gentle curl.  She was scrubbing the floor, obviously one of the hostages they had kept around to do the cleaning.  I took pity on this girl, and absorbed her into myself, so that I could take her to safety.  We flew together, over the two fences, and into our yard.  As I phased through the cellar door, I let her out again.  I walked back to my room, where Julie was sleeping, sick.  As I returned to my bed, and started making it, she woke up, and asked where I had been.  I told her I had gone to John's house.
"I don't believe you," She said.
"Where else would I have gone?"  I replied.

The Showdown

"Finally, the moment you have all been waiting for, Josh Hamilton, vs Robert Wight"

We were in an arena, about 100 yards in length, with a couple of doorways in the middle as obstacles.  The point of this game was to take three pucks from your side of the field, and get them to the enemies side before they did.  The rules were simple:
1.  You can only have up to 2 pucks at any one time
2. Any pucks stolen directly from the opponent can be used as your own.

We started, and both ran across, both scoring two points.  Time was nearly up, and I knew I only had one option.  Josh was faster than me, and there was no way I could get to his goal before he got to mine.  We were both at our home bases, and I ran towards Josh, with nothing in my hands.  He wasn't paying attention to me, and as I passed him, I took his puck.  He stood there, nonplussed, as I walked towards his goal, and won.  He was still in a stunned silence as the announcer proclaimed my victory.

Witch Hunter

I was a part of another world.  This was a world full of horror and wonder, magic an mystery.  I was a hunter of sorts, hunting down those with magical abilities that were using them for evil.  You might even say I was a witch hunter, though most of the witches were male in this case.  There was one that was always invisible, and I could never quite catch him, no matter what I tried.  His one weakness was that he was always getting in fights with other magical creatures.
As our story begins, I was spending a relaxing evening with some of my friends, relaxing on their dock after dinner.  They had three dogs, rather unruly, but a lovely bunch.  They all seemed to want to get into the river, but my friends son was keeping them in check.  One of them finally got away, and made a break for the river.  He fell in with a splash, and soon after, the son jumped in to save him.  He caught up with the hound, and started back to the dock with him.  As he was coming back, I noticed one of my old army friends in the water as well.  He came to shore when he recognized me, and my friends rushed to get him a towel to help him dry off.  He was in normal clothes, and I asked him what had happened.  He didn't say much, and it seemed to me like it was just enough to quell our questions, but not give us any of the actual truth.  We helped him dry off, and then he was gone.
In our base, Josh Hamilton and I were watching some footage of the Pariser Dom in Berlin, and some scaffolding that was on it.  My army friend was on it, sneaking away from some others who were chasing him.  We watched him successfully escape by leaping from building to building, and jumping into the Spree river.  It became clear that it must have been very soon after this that I saw him, and pulled him from the river.  I told Josh my theory.
"The Kanzler's son is a warlock.  That is the only reasonable explanation."
Josh was, however, not convinced.
Later, I had a dream about our base.  There were two evil warlocks torturing another.  I could hear his screams, and them saying he was stronger, and could hide better, because he was one of the Ancients.  He had the ability to hide his power from others.  When I could finally see the Ancient, I could see he had very little hope for life.  He was missing the lower half of his body, though it seemed as if he was made of stone by the way the break looked, and there was very little blood.  His screaming had subsided by now, and they were bending over him.  The invisible warlock I had been hunting for a long time was there as well, and said he was going out.
I knew where he was going, so when I awoke, I headed out to the forest.  My dream did not lead me astray, and when I neared this forest, I heard the sounds of a brawl.  The invisible one was fighting an oversized wolf.  I threw one of my flame nets at the warlock, and I was rewarded by a scream of surprise.
"How did you know I would be here?"
"It wasn't hard I just followed the sounds of fighting, like always."
Finally, my long hunt was over, but now I had even bigger problems.  If the son of the chancellor was really a warlock, there was much left to do.  This was going to be a long night indeed.

Air Warrior

I was a part of a secret government organization.  I don't think they knew, but I was very special.  I could control the wind.  They had decided that they were finished with me, so my handler sent another lady to kill me.  One of my good friends was also on the rooftop where they decided my execution would take place.  I really didn't want to die, so I tried to convince the lady not to do it.  She had a syringe, filled with something that looked nasty.  I used a gust of air to knock it out of her hands, and she was impressed.  My friend and I finally convinced her that she shouldn't kill me.  I took my chance, and flew away.  I flew alongside the building and away from it.  My iron will was the only thing that wouldn't let me fall.  I kept going until I knew for certain that I was safe.

Eventually, I came to a cave. There were a few others who were also going into the cave.  When we into the cave, we looked for a good place to settle for the night.  We started exploring the cave, and as another guy and I were walking towards the largest opening, something was coming towards us.  It was a very large, troll like creature, with tentacles.  I tried to put up a wall of air to stop him, but he just walked straight through.  We were terrified, and started to run away, but then we stopped.

"Don't be afraid!  I'm just here to play!"
When he entered the room, it came to life.  There were tons of toys, arcade games, and so many other things to do all over the cave.  for hours, it must have been, we spent there playing.  The whole time, something felt wrong to me.  I started to tell a few of the guys about my misgivings, but they were not convinced.
"You don't trust me?" The monster said.
Then, the four guys who were playing at one of the biggest games in the room fell into a vat of boiling water.  He was going to eat us!  I knew it!   I messed with the controls on the games, and the vat fell over, and the guys came spilling out.  Only three of them had survived.  The monster was then after me.  I flew up to a rafter to escape from him.

"You will only ever be able to just barely escape from me,"  He said.
He jumped, and even thought the rafter was fairly high, he almost grabbed me.  He caught a part of the coat I had been wearing, and I let it fall with him.  I looked up, and saw a higher rafter, and flew to it.  The next time he jumped, he was still far too close for comfort, and grabbed my belt.  I let that fall as well.  It was then that a boy piped up.  One of the smallest in the room, but obviously the brightest.
"But wait.  You can't be real.  There is only one reason that this would all happen. This must be a test, and only the pure hearted would get through."

"And you have failed."
"No, by not falling for your trickery, we have one."
Behind the largest game, where the big vat of water once was, a bit of the wall was shimmering, and starting to disappear.  Behind it, was a door.  I opened the door, and went through.  The tunnel led us down a ways, into another chamber.  In this chamber were a few nuclear missiles, and three computers, all ready to launch these, and more missiles.  There were just a few people in the room at first, and then several centaurs rode in.
"Welcome, honored guests," they said.

Mutants in Berlin

We were all in a bus, and a mad man put in some poison gas, that started to transform our DNA.  A lot of guys from my floor were there, definitely Mason, and Justin, and Scott, and I think Trevor was along for the ride as well.  The DNA change didn't change our appearance much, but we gained extremely long tongues.  The bus crashed, but amazingly, most of us were completely fine. The police came, and started asking questions, and they discovered the mutation. They started rounding us up, but some of us hid. We were successful, got away. At some point, Carmen met up with us at a campfire, and I showed her my telekinesis I had also developed.  She seemed to take it pretty well, and we talked for a bit.  I saw a fly go by, and I grabbed it with my tongue.  It was pretty tasty.  As we walked around a bit more, I realized that everyone around us was talking in German, and it was nice to be in Berlin again, even if it was only for a short while.

Sweet Escape

He loosened my bands enough so that I could reach the telephone cord, with which I could strangle myself.  I was about to do so, when I realized that this was not my only choice.  I decided to try the door to my cell.  It was unlocked!  I opened it, and went out.  There were guards, and a fence, and a wall, but the nearest guards had come to get me out, and were friends in disguise.  They led me through a gate, and into the forest.  We ran down a wide path, and through many empty towns.  We finally got to a river, with a ferry.  We knew we had made it, because it was the only ferry for miles, and the ones chasing us would have to wait for it to come back.  As we left the shore, the heavy burden of fear and uncertainty lifted off my shoulders.

Murder and Mystery

Mom knew we were lying.  She came in, closed the door, and sat down on the bed right across from me.

“Do you have something you want to tell me?”  She asked.

At first, I was filled with this sense of dread, that I was lying to my mother, and I felt terrible.  Then I remembered the cause, and was defiant.  I yelled no, because I knew she knew what I knew, and she still wanted me to tell the truth.  We argued for a bit, then she left.

There was an investigation going on as to a murder that had happened in a dark barn or cave or some sort.  I say that because I was coming down steps on one side of an enormous room, while, high up on the wall towards which I was walking, was a large window, through which I could see someone with enormous wings.  Two or three of my good friends were with me, and as we went down, we could see Jared down there too.  We got down to him, and heard a witch chanting.  We ran, but it was too late.  The witch was the one who had killed someone, but no one would believe our story if we told it, and no one else had seen Jared at the scene, so we decided to just be quiet about the whole thing.

I couldn't understand why my mom and dad wanted so bad for us to tell them.  Didn't they trust us?  If we wouldn't tell them, they must know there was a reason, right?

When my mom had left, we watched a recording that I had of the whole event.  Jared was plain to be seen, placing him at the scene, but there was also the other strange happenings recorded as well.  A small troll with a long beak walked in, and it seemed only I was paying attention to him.  He started speaking a poem, and then I realized it might be important, so I put my ear up to his beak to make sure I caught it all.  I quickly copied it down onto my laptop, so I wouldn’t forget it.  It was then that I realized.  It was phoenix!  This was how she came back to life every time she died, this old lady would perform a ceremony.  Angel had apparently just discovered this as well, or was in on it, as he must have been the guy at the window that night.

We had decided to go on a ride.  It was the sort of ride that scares you terribly, and the escorts that the theme park provides are excellent actors.  I went with the first crew, and, as its reputation would have us believe, it was, indeed, terrifying.  As it opened up, you went down a staircase, and there were two twins, one boy, and one girl, sitting in the car in front of you.  There is a voice that started to chant something, and then the twins join in.  As we got halfway down the stairs, I realized that we were once again in a similar place to where the murder had happened.  I endured the ride, and was glad when it was over.

We hung out outside the ride, messing around as college kids do.  I remember we were playing a sort of tag, and I tagged Alexia, but she was tired, and didn’t really feel like playing.  That was understandable, considering what we had just been through.  Another group of IV people came, and said they wanted to go on the ride.  Most of the people with me wanted to go again, but I definitely did not.  I didn’t think my nerves could handle a second round.  I asked Scott if I could borrow his car to drive myself back to the church we were staying at, and he said yes, as long as I brought a game that was in his car back to Hannah’s house.
I started out ok driving, though I wasn’t really sure where I was going.  I guess I wasn’t used to the streets of Denver anymore, or at least this part.  I got to an intersection, went straight, and just kept on straight.  I started to fall asleep.  I awoke when I heard and felt an aweful bump.  It seemed I had hit a cat.  I realized I had somehow gotten to a very rural part, as it seemed I was in the middle of a small farm.  I turned around, somewhat of a challenge in the newly fallen snow.  As I drove past the scene of the incedent, I saw red blood on the snow, but not the cat.

I kept driving, and eventually drove through this food shop.  I kept going till I found a parking spot, and walked back to see what they could offer.  I walked in through the back wall, because it was too much work for me to find the front entrance.  I was right next to the cook, and he asked me what I wanted.  I thought that Hannah might enjoy some fried chicken, and so I asked for that.  As I waited for the food to be cooked, some people from Billings chapter walked in.  they had been in the second group that had gone on the ride again.

“I got a little lost…”  I said

“You were close, we’re right on s 11th, so all you had to do was turn right, and keep going.”
