We were at chapter camp, at Flathead Lake. Julie said that if we wanted, we could take a boat out and go watch Finding Nemo while floating on the lake. We started over to the other side of the lake, some of us in the boat, but Dan and I were on a tube being pulled behind the boat. On the way there, I saw some people that I knew in the water, and one of them reached out and tugged on my leg as I passed by. When we finally got there, there were people already watching the movie, but there was also a snack bar. I got in line for the snack bar, and standing next to me were to mexican men. They were talking in spanish, but I could understand them, and they were talking about me. That kinda annoyed me, but it was ok. I finally got my food, and we went a little ways away to sit on some rocks near a tall building.
In the building, Sarah was using the rocks for target practice with a gun that was an artifact. I knew that it wouldn't be able to shoot if it was aimed at a human, so I got in the way of the laser sight, just to mess with her. It was then that our commander rounded us up. She said that we had to make sure that the last of the zombies were dead, so we headed out to find, and destroy them. The first one we found was laying under a river, a woman with blonde hair. Our commander said that we should conserve bullets, so she sliced the zombies neck. The woman didn't die, but got up, and started talking.
"I thought you guys would think I was dead, because I was underwater... Why do you want to kill me? I'm not evil..."
I felt really bad about it, and the woman started to talk to two other people who weren't actually there. I could see one of the people she was talking to, but I knew she wasn't real. We told the woman that if she could make it to a certain island, she would be safe. It was an island where other zombies lived peacefully. She set off for the island, and we never did see her again.

Wilderness
I was in Alaska, with Joscelyn, Megan, Luke, and one other guy. We were about to sled down a hill, in the national park surrounding Denali. I knew that it was safe, because I had already gone down it with Kat. I was having doubts, though, because the slope was rather steep, and narrow. We started down anyway, and quickly built up speed. The path became curvy, and the snow was starting to disappear. We hit one really rough patch, and Luke and I were thrown from the sled. When I came to my senses, I saw that we had landed near the cub of a mountain lion. He seemed friendly enough. Luke was already petting him, like he was just a house cat. I asked him to stop, because we didn't know where the mother was. He finally agreed, and we got up to go find the others. From the edge of the clearing, the mother was watching. She stalked with slow, even steps, as she came towards us. We were still a threat, she thought, because our apparent retreat was just a trick. She lept towards me with no warning, teeth bared. I reached out my arm, and caught her in the face. I caught hold of her muzzle, and kept her teeth shut, so she wouldn't be able to bite me. She fell to the ground, and then started up to renew her attack. I held her head again with my hand, leaving her unable to attack. Finally, she gave up, as her cub had already retreated some distance from us. She walked with her cub into the forest, and they were gone.

Swimming
I was swimming back from Seattle, on the river that runs to Wenatchee. It was a broad, deep river, and the current wasn't very strong. Eventually, I came to a water fall. It was a rather large waterfall, at least 1000 ft, and there was a huge pool at the bottom. I got onto the diving board, and prepared to jump. The bottom was a mere blur, obscured by the vast distance. I readied myself, and jumped.
As I fell, I realized that there was a pontoon in my way, with people on it. I tried to move, so as to not hit it, and destroy it, but it kept moving to match my movements. I was forced to slow myself, almost to a stop. Eventually, I evaded it, and landed in the pool. I decided I was done with swimming for a while, and got out of the pool, and went into the men's changing area, that was carved into the cliff face. Though it was in a cave, all of the walls were made of wood. I got changed, and walked into a room with lots of people in it, from my past.

Special
I was riding the school bus home, like any normal day, and was talking to this small kid. He seemed like a nice guy, and we got along quite well. When we got to our stop, We said goodbye, and I went on my way. halfway to my house, however, I realized that I could hear breathing that wasn't mine. I looked back at my backpack, and realized the kid had somehow gotten into my backpack without me noticing. He said someone was following him, and he needed to get away from him. He spoke of a meeting that was happening in an hour at a secret base in the southern part of Idaho. It was a convention of sorts, for superheroes, or those with powers. He really needed to get there, so I started walking.
Inside the base, as we approached it, two people were talking.
"He's late."
"There's someone with him. He's a mutant. a Robert... Wight."
"Get rid of him. We can't have other supers sniffing around."
We came to a fence, that was locked. We couldn't find a way through, but the boy said that I could get us through.
"How?" I asked.
"Just think, and it will happen."
I imagined the fence disappearing, and it was gone. We went forward, cautiously. We decided it was too risky to be wearing just normal clothes, so we changed into two spiderman costumes I had in my backpack. The boy had such a fro that it stuck out of the suit, but still, it covered his face, so all was well. We went on, and finally got to a building. When we looked in the window, it was mostly empty, with some computers along one wall, and a cage near the ceiling. There was slumped figure in the cage, wearing a spiderman costume. We opened the window quietly, hoping noone was in there. We flew (using my telekinesis) to the cage, got in (the top was open), and started to check on the man in the suit. suddenly, the lights went on, and the top of the cage sprang to life. We were trapped.

The Underling
I was in a cave. Not really a normal cave, more of a mine. There were no visible entrances or exits, besides five round holes in the floor, each with a ladder coming out of them. The two closest to me seemed well used, and rather worn, but the last three were a little dusty. I choose the third, and went down. When I came back up, I found myself in a large cavern, mostly empty, but for one small child working furtively. She notice me, and looked up.
"Where did you come from?" she asked.
"Up above. Do you want to go with me? You can be free."
"I don't know... I'm not supposed to leave..."
"I just want to explore. You don't have to leave the caves, if you don't want to."
"Where are you going?"
"I was going to try the fourth ladder next, if you want to come with me."
"But that ladder is forbidden! I'm only allowed to use the first two... We'll get caught!"
"It's ok, I'm with you now. They would only notice me. You'll be fine."
So we descended down the fourth ladder. When we came back up, we found ourselves right outside of a large office door. Sounds of an argument were coming through the door. Suddenly, it opened. the girl and I huddled in a corner, trying not to be seen. Out of the door came two flaming creatures, one in the shape of a man, and the other looked more like a balrog. Flames were flying between the two, and it seamed as if the very air was on fire.
"I'm not working for you anymore. Not even you can stop me from leaving."
"You're right, I can't kill you, but you still have the fire of the lake in you..."
With that, the balrog clenched his fist, and a stream of rock fell out of the flaming man. He cringed, and ran over to the fifth hole, and descended the ladder. The Balrog followed. The child and I ran over as well, and when we got there and looked in, we saw an open book, with a key hovering over it. Ron Weasley was talking, saying the key was either first or last. I said it was last, and he said I was right.
"Do you have anymore questions?" he asked.
With that, the child shut the book, we grabbed the key, and headed down the tunnel. When we came back up, there was a locked door, that the key fit perfectly into. We opened it, and ran out onto a huge ledge, overlooking a massive lake. On the edge of the cliff, there was a metal bar that ran out about ten feet over the edge. The flaming man was standing on the bar, and the balrog was about to charge him. I saw that the bar was going to collapse, so I held it up with my mind. The balrog charged, but over shot the man, plunging over the cliff. Before he hit the water, though, he caught the edge of the metal bar with his whip, hanging by it. The flaming man ran back to the cliff edge, and as he leaped to safety, I let the bar go, and the balrog fell into the water. Safe at last, we all left the caves, never to return again.

Fireworks
I was with a bunch of IV people at someones house, staying the night there. We stayed up super, late, I remember thinking, because it was almost five in the morning. I looked outside, and saw solar wind hitting the sky, not like the aurora borealis, but something different, more like tons of tiny sparks exploding. All around the house, for some reason, people were setting off fireworks, so it was really hard to see what was going on in the night sky. I gave up trying to see, and noticed that there was a piano on the porch, so I went out to play on it. Before I got to the piano, two dogs ran up to me, so I petted them for a while. After a time, I went to the piano and started a piece, but the owner of the house, a woman, came out. She asked if she had woken us. Apparently she normally gets up around five, and was trying not to wake us, not realizing most of us were still awake. I said no, and that I was already awake, and she smiled.

Fire
We were in a basement, fighting off flaming foes. They were like skeleton people, with their skins just a shadow, and underneath, flaming bones. If any of the flame touched you, you would become like them. I had the last one by the throat, where there was no flame, about to kill him, when he lifted his arm, and the flame hit me. I felt the same, but I could see that I was burning on the outside. I found my way to the others, who had already left, but they said nothing about the flames. I assumed that they couldn't see them. When I looked around, I realized we were in a gift shop of sorts, more specifically in a section where there were glass ornaments all around us. I accidentally brushed against a wall, and it started to burn. I tried to walk away inconspicuously, but a lady had seen what had happened, and was freaking out. She yelled for someone to come quick, but I reached out, and touched her arm. She soon began to burn as well, like me. She stopped yelling then, because of her surprise. Together, our group ran out of the shop, and into a nearby forest. There was an empty cabin there, that we decided to stay the night in. I checked my phone, and realized that my mom had called me at some point. I called her back, and was about to tell her what had happened, but then Joe said that it probably wouldn't be a very good idea, seeing as how we did start a fire and all. I also didn't tell her that we were in Italy, and about to travel all around Europe.

The Android Factory
They were going to turn me into an android, and I had to think fast. They had sent me along a belt, that was moving towards a room that I knew would do the first step, taking my head off. As I got closer, I saw something in the room that looked rather less dangerous than the knives waiting there. There was a soft, flesh toned contraption, that looked like a brain on the outside, with tons of grooves and ridges, but it was empty, and it extended at the top and had a cord of the same material that led to the ceiling. When I got to the room, I dodged the knives, and put the brain-like thing on my head. I suddenly found myself able to control the other androids.
The owner of the plant, one of my former teachers, came running, and when he got to the room I was in, I had two of the androids there hold him. I took his keys, the keys to the factory, or so I assumed, and had them put him in a cylinder container that was on one of the walls. It looked to be made of glass, and was slowly emptying the whole time. When he was put in it, he began to leave the container as well, beginning with his feet. There was only a small tube leaving the bottom of the container, so I assumed it would not end well for him. I looked down, and examined the keys he had given me. There was really only one key of importance, the skeleton key. I took that one, shoved it in my pocket, and left the others. I went back to my dorm, which was in the basement of the factory, and waited.
About a half hour later, the owner was back. He called two of his androids (which were now back under his control) and they held me. He didn't realized that I still had the skeleton key, so he didn't take it from me. He took me back up to the converting floor, where I had previously almost lost my head. He showed me what had happened when I thought he had died. He put first a Christmas tree into the cylinder, and then brought me out to another room, where, as the tree disappeared in the other room, tiny bits were flying into this room, and reassembling themselves. To show how it worked on a human, he had the androids put Darrell into it, and I watched him get reassembled. When he was put back together again, however, it seemed he was not all there. He just stood there, staring blankly ahead. The owner ran over to him, concerned that it had gone so badly, and my sister (Julie this time) and I took our chance. We ran over to a car that was there, a jeep, and I gave her the skeleton key to try to start it. Unfortunately, the skeleton key had broken while it was in my pocket, so the car wouldn't start. I gave the engine a burst of energy, and it started. In it, we flew up, and out through a window, to our freedom.

Creatures in the Dark
We were in my dining room, playing cards, as we did almost every evening, when there was a tapping on the sliding door. I saw this terrible creature, a mix between a giant falcon, and a lizard. I knew I had to face it. I walked over to the door, and went out. When I got there, told God that I was trusting Him to save me, and he did. When the creature was about to attack me, it's talon got caught on something. Nearby, there were bombs on the porch, that I threw at the creature with my mind, and it started to fly away. The second bomb I threw, however, caught the bird-like creature on it's wing, and took it down.
Later on, one of my sisters(Julie) was talking to my cousin(Becky) about something that had happened recently. I could tell that it was something rather significant, but I had no clue what they were talking about, so I just smiled and nodded. Julie started to get angry at me, because she thought I knew what was going on, but I told her I had no clue, and she was satisfied. Eventually, through talking with my mom, I figured out that she had gotten married not too long ago, and was already pregnant. The only problem was, the baby was growing far too fast for a normal child. At this rate, the pregnancy would last no more than 6 weeks. Some time later, a week or so before the baby was to arrive, the father came to visit. He looked like a normal person at first, but there were times when his image would flicker, or even go away for a moment. When that would happen, it seemed no one else was able to see but me, and I saw a man with green skin, and blank, black eyes. I tried to tell Julie what was happening, but she wouldn't listen.
The time finally came for the baby to be born. It was all a flurry of activity, and for most of it, I just sat around, unable to do anything useful. I waited for my sister and her new baby to get cleaned up with her husband in the waiting room. The awkward silence was unbearable. I asked him how they met, and he said that he was in the same program as her at Eastern. Finally, Julie came out holding the baby. Her husband was super excited. "Finally, we can leave!" He said. He pressed a button on his watch, and I watched as a swirling hole in space appeared in front of him. "Are you coming?" He asked. I looked over at Julie, and then I realized that he was talking to me. I walked slowly over to the portal, and looked at it more closely. I turned back towards my parents, said goodbye, and walked through the portal.

Of Death and Running
Daniel Radcliff was about to go on a cruise, and the boat was retracting its ramp from the dock. A man was trying to run up the ramp, before it was entirely gone, to avoid the ticket takers, as he had not paid for the cruise. Daniel tried to encourage him, and the man made it just in time, catching the edge of the boat just as the ramp disappeared into the hull. Unfortunately, the owner of the boat had come over to see what all the commotion was about, and saw the man. He told the man, that if he could make it once more, that he could stay on the boat. The man started all over again, but this time, he wasn't so lucky. He fell into the river, and was never heard from again.
My sister (no one I actually know) was next to me, chained near the docks, and we saw the man fall into the river. We were talking to our jailer, who was on the other side of a wall when it happened. We realized this was our chance to escape, so we ran, still talking to the jailer. We kept running until we got to a room where we thought we could hide. My sister and I hid in a closet, thinking we were the only ones there. When the authorities got there, though and started to search the room, my phone started playing music, and wouldn't stop. I tried pressing pause, and stop, anything I could think of, but nothing would work. I decided to give myself up, so that my sister wouldn't get caught. As I left the cupboard, I realized there were tons of other people there, who had given themselves up as well. They were packing their things, and getting ready to leave for jail. Among them were Scott and David, Shane and Danielle, Blake, and a couple others. We talked for a while, while they slowly packed.

Hikes and Spiders
My family and I were hiking a mountain near my house, on a weekend. We got to the top, and enjoyed the view for a few minutes, before preparing to hike back down. When we were about to start, my mom winked at me, and I knew she wanted to race the others down. She ran off a secret way that we both knew and one of my friends followed me. I was too slow, and it seemed the path had changed. We got a ways down the path, when we got to a ledge, with a short drop to a spiderweb infested floor. Across the room-like clearing, I saw the way we needed to go, but there were tons of spiderwebs in the way. I paused, looking for a way over to the other side. There was a series of small rock columns that led about halfway across the floor, and I thought I could jump the rest of the way from there. I realized I could use my boomerang blade skill shot (As I was, of course, Sivir) to get rid of the cobwebs, so I did. I started walking across the stone pillars, when I fell onto the spiders nest. I saw the spider right as I landed, a couple of inches to my left, sitting on the floor. It suddenly jumped up onto my arm, and I used an energy blast to end it. I then climbed back onto the stone pillars, and got safely out, and rejoined my family. Unfortunately, they had beaten me, though my mother had somehow bypassed the spider room.

High School Drama
We were at my old highschool, at a morning assembly. The speaker was giving a talk about the planets, and how they interact with the moon. He was showing a clip of video, in which there were shadows on the earth from saturn, when Josh stood up, calling all attention to himself.
"That's impossible! The planet would have to have been in between the earth and the moon for that to have happened." His brother agreed, and they proceeded to argue with the speaker. This went on for over five minutes, neither side gaining any ground, until it was time for the intermission. I left the auditorium, and walked out into the hallway by the music wing, to get a drink of water. When I had done so, I walked a little farther into the hall, and looked into a classroom. It was filled with small 3rd graders. I remember thinking that highschoolers seemed to be getting younger everyday, but this was ridiculous. I walked in, and said hi to Mrs. Ritter, and saw one of the girls I used to tutor, hugging her dad. She was very happy, and I was happy for her, that she had an awesome dad. Mrs. Ritter thanked me once more for tutoring in her class, and I left.
I walked outside, and it was already dark. I realized I had left my car at the highschool, and so I was about to ask Seth for a ride back, when I realized that the van was already there.

End of Ze World
We were running, as always, through a dark, grassy field. It was dark, mainly because it was night, though it should have been day 5 hours ago. We kept running till we got to the ship. We got their just in time. The sun was just beginning to come over the horizon, far too fast. As we rose, we saw the singularity begin to devour the earth. It first stripped off the vegetation that was near it, steadily digging deeper into the earth. As we began to rise, free from the gravity of the black hole in our ship, the sun neared the vortex. It was strange, seeing the sun from so close, and not burning up. It slowly gave in to the black hole's gravity well, like a ball of golden liquid pouring into a giant mouth. It flared up one last time, and then was gone. My attention was then drawn back to the diminishing earth. It was down to bare rock on this side, atleast, and nearing the core. As the rock turned into glowing red rock, I saw black spots coming into my vision. In our attempts to leave the immense gravity of the singularity, our gravity engines were beginning to fail. We were just getting away, when all faded to darkness.

Shadow Kat
She waited furiously while the others discussed my fate.
"He's too much of a risk. We need the plate, not him."
"Don't you guys care about him at all? He was your friend!"
"After all this work, we can't fail now. Not even his safety can get in our way."
"Let me go, I can get him, and the plate out safely."
"No. You can only go if your first priority is the plate."
She nodded, hesitantly. The saying was certainly true, no honor among thieves. When they finally let her go, she snuck carefully along the path to the house. She was once more thankful for her ability to hide from unwanted attention, for it had saved her life in many similar circumstances. Now, it was probably the only reason the gang had let her be the one to attempt saving the plate. She crept up to a window, and peered inside. No one was in that room. It appeared to be a large closet of some kind, so she carefully, silently, pryed the window open. When she got inside, she crept into the hallway, which led into a large room, filled with people.
At one end of the room, there was a large throne, empty. In front of the throne, she saw me, sitting helpless at the feet of Darth Sidious. She stayed in the shadows, and crept around the room, trying to see who all was their. To one side of Darth Sidious stood Josh, who was in the guise of a guard. She stopped. suddenly realizing that because Josh was on her side, he could see here plan as day as his eyes traced her across the room. Thankfully, the Darth sidius was in deep conversation with the other guard on his left, and saw nothing. she slowly crept up to the throne, heart beating wildy. She had only one mission: get the plate. but as she approached the throne she could not resist touching my shoulder to let me know that she was in the room with me. I gasped. Josh wispered, " get him out first" and the Darth Sidius turned and looked right where Kat was standing, and winked.
It caught her by surprise, and she took a step backwards. He went back to what he was doing, and she started to think. It was then, that she realized that the plate was actually a bomb. She immediately ran back to the gang, forsaking any pretense of stealth. No one payed any attention to her, as she ran to the front door, and out again. She hurried to the gang, and told them of her new found knowledge. They quickly understood, and ran to the path, and waited. Soon, the emperors entourage started streaming out of the house, with me in tow, being "dragged" by Josh. Apparently, they had realized that none of them actually knew had to diffuse the bomb, so instead of trying their luck, they simply ran. They got to the barbed wire fence that surrounded the house, and stopped. There was no explosion. In the confusion, Josh had smuggled me over to Kat and the gang, and we had started to leave. When there was no explosion, however, the gang started to attack the Emperor, and his minions. They quickly overpowered the Emperor, and went into the house to search for the gold plate, that obviously was not a bomb. When they found it, they came running out of the house with their prize, but I nor Kat cared as we held each other, we knew that the other was safe, and that was more valuable then gold.

The End of the Witch
I was approaching a cabin that I knew belonged to an evil witch. I entered the house, and snuck down the first hall way. Two men ran towards me, one with a scimitar, and the other with a long sword. The guy with the Scimitar got to me first, and swung at me. I didn't have anything to fight back with, so I grabbed his sword, and stabbed him in the stomach. I exchanged a couple of blows with the other man, until I knocked the sword from his hand, and dispatched him as well.
When I got to the end of the hall, I entered a large room, with a fireplace at one end. Inside the fireplace, was a cauldron, that the witch was stirring. She turned with a shriek as I ran up to her, but when I killed her, she fell silent. Immediately after this, I was thrown up the chimney, and out into the front yard. Fortunately, there was a small pond that stopped my fall safely. When I came to my senses, I realized that there were three emus in the pond with me. They would periodically reach their heads into the pond, and then take them out again, chewing on something. As I got to my feet, I noticed that I was covered in leeches. The emus then started eating the leeches off of me.
When they had eaten the last one, I walked over to the dirt road in front of the house, where my uncle was waiting in an old, tan Cadillac. We drove down the road, and it got increasingly more hilly, until we went over a hill that was too steep, and we fell off of it. Thankfully, we started floating, and made it safely to the bottom of the gorge.

Fighting Demons
I was in a cave of sorts, with Elves, Dwarves, and Men, all united, to fight a huge battle. In one corner of the room, two of each race were huddled, readying themselves to summon a demon to kill. As they started chanting, I realized that none of them actually knew how to kill the demon they were summoning. I knew that they needed a certain sword to kill it, or it would never die. This sword was entirely black, and had a large black gem imbedded into the hilt. I searched amongst the chairs in the room, and finally found it in the middle of the room, towards the side, in the shadows. The room became darker and darker, until one of the walls were entirely black. It was from this wall that I knew the demon would appear. I grabbed the sword, and readied my self to slay him. When he finally came through, he was a very large troll like character. He started to swing a club he had in his left hand, but I stabbed him in the chest. He didn't react at all to the sword in his middle, but it seemed that his club was insubstantial as well. I kept trying to kill him, but my sword would just move through him like it might through muddy water. Finally, I made one huge slice through him from left to right, all the way through his middle, and when I got all the way through him, he popped , and his upper half slid onto the floor next to his feet.
We then went through the portal he had come out of, to see what we might find. We found tons of strange creatures that had been enslaved by the demon, all of whom wanted to come into our realm, and experience freedom for the first time. Some of them we let through, but others I knew we could not. They were the ones with only one eye, that I knew would only ever experience ridicule in our world, and would never truely be happy here. They were very sad, but must have understood, because they did not attempt to walk through with us. There were a few minor demons left in that realm, and those we threw into a prison we had nearby.

Little Town of Madness
We were in a town, Kayt, Kat, and I, and I think a few others from IV. We were walking towards the train station, because Kayt was leaving, to go see her family, I think her grandmother. While we walked, Kat was saying how sad it would be to have her leave. After she left, Kat, Josh, and I were walking along a path outside of town, and came upon a large building housing a pool. We went inside, and, for some reason, went onto the second story of the building. This was more of a mezzanine floor, without any sort of railing to protect from a 50 or so foot fall. I looked down, considering jumping into the pool from that story, just for fun, but soon realized that the actual pool was a good 20 feet away, and there was no way I could jump that far. Kat got really close to the edge, so I pulled her back to safety, not wanting her to fall.
After that, we walked back towards the village. When we got to a small clearing, with one side of the path sloping down to a line of trees, and the other sloping up to a short embankment. We saw an airplane-like vehicle coming towards us, moving very much like a helicopter would. We then saw men with guns rappelling down on ropes, telling us to hide by the embankment, to escape the fighting that was sure to shortly ensue. Thankfully, Kat had teleported to the village shortly after we arrived at the clearing, so she was safe. Josh and I leaned against the embankment, with a few other men, waiting for the warriors to pass.

MSU Escapade
I was somewhere at a church on a mission trip for IV. They wanted us to play the music for the worship, with me playing piano, like usual. I knew that I would be speaking after we played, so I was mentally preparing myself the entire time. When the music ended, however, Pastor Josh, from my hometown church, started the sermon. He spoke of a man who was slightly mischievous, but in the end, was a good guy. For some reason, I knew in my heart that the man he spoke of was me, even though he didn't know it.
When we got back to campus, a few of my friends in the dorms were watching Barney, with one of my friends from home, and my mom. I joined them, until one of my molars popped out, and then shattered. I pretended like I was going to go check my mail, and secretly deal with my missing tooth, but my friend from home kept following me. He insisted that we play this game, that consisted of answering a trivia question, followed by a short sprint. The question chosen (it was written on a piece of paper he held) was: What ghosts visited Scrooge? I looked away from the paper, realizing how easy the question was, but when I looked back at the paper, another question had appeared. It asked; What number is in the verse Isaiah 6:13? At the time, I was thinking it was referring to Isaiah 53, so I said 1. There was another team, made up of mostly my fellow chemical engineering students, and they thought the answer to the second question was one of the first few digits of pi, so I changed my answer to 3.
Just in case you guys are wondering, there is a number in Isaiah 6:13, and it happens to be 1/10.

Never Trust the Womenfolk...
My father and sister had just dumped my body into a vat of hot oil. I knew it would take longer to die than one would think, because I was really cold right before, so I (in spirit form) followed Sherlock Holmes to see where he was going. I didn't feel like walking, so I sat down, criss cross style, and floated behind him. When we got back, Sherlock tried to convince them that I was worth keeping alive, but they wouldn't listen. I tried to run to the pot, to knock it over, but my sister kept me from reaching it. I extended my mind instead, and tipped it over with that. After regaining my body, I ran from dad and my sister, through Home Depot, and then to McDonalds, where my friend and I stopped for lunch. I got a double quarter pounder with cheese. Then, as my dad finally was catching up to me, I tried to fly, but every time I got a foot off the ground, everything would go black, and I would be back where I started. It was then I realized that I needed to free my mind.
Brotherhood
I was crown prince of a small medieval nation. There were some invaders attacking, and my two brothers and sister prepared for war. The war was intense, and after it was over, my mom and dad and two brothers and I were talking by the van about it, when my sister came over, distraught. She aimed an arrow at my brother, and missed, and I went inside the van for cover. I made it just in time, for she sent another in my direction that hit the car door. She then started attacking me with her sword. We dueled for a while, till I finally knocked the sword from her grip, and she yielded. She had lost her lover in the battle. After the duel, one of my brothers asked me how it felt to once again be clothed in the garb of my brothers, and I said good. He then said how much he felt honored to be roommates with me, and we headed home.
Power of the Storm
On the first night of youth group at our church, we were getting ready to play a group game of some sort. Everyone was given a slip of paper, and a wafer gun. The paper had on it the super power you would recieve when you went into the chapel. I went in, and read that I could control the weather. At first, I used it to freeze the other kids guns, or fill them with water. By the end, however, my knowledge of my power had developed so that I could make huge geysers appear, to route my enemies.
The Adventure of the 6 Scarabs
We were storming a room, my comrades and I, with two shotguns and a semi-auto. I had the semi-auto, of course, as I was the leader. As the door went down, my two buddies went rushed in, fired once, and stopped dead in their tracks. When I neared the dead man, I saw what captured their attention.
"I hate it when I shoot a dead man," one of them said disdainfully. It was true. There was only one man in the room, and he was obviously dead before he was shot. The strangest part about the corpse was his red skin, even redder on his neck and face. We decided to explore the rest of the building. We found more dead scattered around in various rooms of the school, though not nearly so many as one might expect. As we wandered throughout the building, we began to itch. Not much at first, but it slowly grew to be almost unbearable. We were starting to panic, fearing that the same thing that had killed the others was going to kill us.
We ran to the nearest door.
It was locked.
Tried the next door.
Locked.
We decided to turn off the lights that we had turned on during our inspection of the dead, in case that had triggered this death trap. We started once more towards the doors.
It was then that we saw them- three armed men, patrolling outside. We let them pass, then charged out, hoping to catch them off guard. They started towards us, so my two friends fired at them. When the three men didn't react to being shot, my friends ran. I stayed behind, more intrigued than frightened. Also, I reasoned, If they wanted to kill us, there was no way we could stop them, so why hide?
When the three men saw my bravery, they were impressed. They then began to tell me their story. They had once died in the same building they now guarded, but when they had descended into the underworld, the Egyptian gods had sent them back to keep others out. They told me of three things that had to happen for someone who ventured in to leave safely.
1. Locked doors
2. The red itch
3. See 6 scarabs.
The scarabs were the most important part, because they would crawl under your skin, to your brain, and keep you alive. The let me back into the building, through a back door. Much to my relief, I saw 4 scarabs, as they crawled up inside of me. I felt different somehow. I met back up with my buddies, and showed them how to get out of the building safely. We got into our car, with one of them driving, the other in shotgun, and me in the backseat. The scarabs had made me super tired, so I slept.
When next I woke, an entire day had passed. I was different. I was muscular, and I felt like I was in charge. My friends asked me what had happened when I ran into the three men, and I told them their story.
We passed a couple of Döner Häuser, and I realized how hungry I was. When we finally stopped, we were at some walled city. We got out, and I met my mom there. One of the guys came with us, and the other went to get us some horses. We started walking up a hill, in a trench, and walked past many little shops. When we finally got to the top of the hill, we slid down a little ways, and were at our abode. We got ready for bed, but when we saw the sun going down, one of my friends said "You better get out there."
Because I was the one with the scarabs inside of me, I had to pay a price for my friends and I leaving. The guards had also told me, that every night, two hairs would be taken from my head, and when all of my hair was gone, I would die.
I went out onto the balcony, and two other scarabs and a tiny dragon were flying towards me. When they got to me, the scarabs each plucked a hair from my head. The dragon, however, started telling me of a plot to overthrow the gods. He had some golden eggs, that held dragons that would become more powerful than them. I did not want this to happen, as it was the gods that were keeping me alive, so I took the eggs and went to bed. When my mom and I were on our way back into town the next day, I showed her the eggs, and a group of three guys tried to steal them. Thankfully, we avoided them, but my mom said I should get out of town, because the guys who tried to steal them would be back.
She brought me to where she had supplies hidden, and told me to survive in the woods for a few days. I started hiking into the woods, and after just a little while, I came upon a stadium. It was full of people, and when I walked in, I noticed one of my friends from school was there. It was them that I realized it was a sports med conference. I was walking along, trying to escape the crowds, when I noticed the three guys who had attempted to take the eggs in the city had found me again.
We were in an empty, narrow hallway. I knew there was no way I could avoid a confrontation now, so I prepared myself to fight. I knew little of my new body, so I didn't know what to expect. When I threw my first punch, I missed. Something happened then, that I didn't expect. I felt a tug in the back of my brain, and the man trying to hit me flew into the air. I found that I could lift the others, too, so I trapped them on the ceiling, out of my way. That was the day my life changed forever.
